Product of the Month: ZO Exfoliating Polish

The Exfoliating Polish is a best-selling ZO product that gently removes dead skin cells to reveal smoother, softer and more glowing skin instantly. As we transition into spring, exfoliation becomes an important step in our skincare routines. The Exfoliating Polish helps you achieve a brighter, more radiant complexion just in time for the warmer weather.

Additionally, the Exfoliating Polish is suitable for all skin types, making it a versatile option benefiting everyone.

My personal take on exfoliation:

My exfoliation routine is complex.

First of all, I have two sauna days a week. When I get really hot, around the 15th to 20th minute, I use a rough towel and rub my whole body with it. I rub my face more gently while the rest of my body more vigorously. Also, I use the ZO Exfoliating Cleanser from time to time.

Exfoliation is a crucial part of any skin routine, but we must also avoid over-exfoliation and irritation.

Cheap moisturisers – the problem

If you use a cheap moisturiser with too much moisture, lipids and proteins in it, you are dumping your skin with these ingredients from the outside, so your skin reduces its activity to produce them internally. Your skin gets lazy. Furthermore, this dumping helps to stick the dead epidermal cells to the surface, hence exfoliation is super important. Using a good quality daily moisturiser with high-quality ingredients, such as the ZO Daily Power Defence and exfoliating, is important.

The ZO product range is available at Dr Bela clinic in person or by drop shipping after a skin consultation to discover your skin type, problems and needs.
